This is a new extra for the Cyberbrick project, “Crane Basket”.
Functional Sections:
What it is / What it does? This is a transportation basket for the Cyberbrick Tower Crane. It can be used to transport additional construction pieces, small tools, or other elements of your Cyberbrick world that need to be moved with precision. It is a useful module and accessory.
How it works? The basket is suspended (implied, by the Nylon thread) and moved by the tower crane using the hook.
Main Features:
It is a new functional module that adds versatility to the Cyberbrick crane.
Allows for the precise transport of small objects.
Includes a realistic detail: a small wooden pallet, printed in wood-like filament for visual realism.
The maximum load depends on the crane's counterweights, but the most crucial factor is "common sense," as it is a 3D-printed toy and not a high-performance structure for heavy loads.
Necessary Materials:
Most components are 3D-printed, following the project's logic (mainly PLA, implied, with the pallet in PLA Wood).
The only necessary commercial component is 0.6mm Nylon thread.
Approximately 300mm of Nylon thread is sufficient.
Super glue (Cyanoacrylate).
Necessary Tools:
Super glue.
Basic 3D printing tools. Specific tools for assembly will be detailed in the future. Considering that parts are glued, a capillary glue applicator may be useful.
Printing Details/Recommendations:
Most parts will be glued. This option is related to reducing the number of supports to zero, and the filament is oriented according to the loads to which the structure will be subjected, thus reducing breakage through the layer adhesion zone.
The pallet is printed in Bambu Lab Clay Brown PLA Wood for realism.
Assembly Instructions:
Construction involves gluing some parts to ensure structural rigidity.
Please be patient and allow time for the glue to set the parts.
