Description
USS Iowa (BB-61) 1:520 scale model
The Iowa class (USS Iowa, New Jersey, Missouri, Wisconsin) was the last battleship class ever built by the United States. Launched during World War II, they combined speed and heavy firepower with 16-inch guns and served for decades in multiple conflicts until the final decommission in 1990. This model reflects most the ship in its later refitted configuration, as seen during its final period of service during Operation Desert Storm.
This model features rotating main and secondary battery turrets with changeable gun elevation. The assembly is fairly straightforward, and a guide is available as an attached document. A separate print profile is available for printing on an A1 mini, as well as a print profile with embedded pauses at layer height to achieve a multicolor look without an AMS. (Because adding pauses at layer heights isn't a significant enough change to have a separate print profile, according to the current guidelines, I have added it to the CAD data of the model. So to get it, simply press the drop-down menu below the print profiles and select Download STL/CAD Files. The file name is “Iowa pause at layer heights”)
**Update**
In the STL/CAD files, there is also another new file that has the front and rear hull with more loose tolerances in case either one does not quite fit the way you would like
