Description
An alternative version of my print-in-place keytag but with a common printed filament hinge. So you can print it in PLA without any concerns and do not have to use PETG. The keytag consists of 2 separate parts that are connected with a piece of 31mm long filament. It is printed flat on the print bed so you can make use of your different print plate textures. It closes with a nice press fit and shouldn't open even when dropped from normal standing height.
0.2mm layer height
no supports
4 walls
4 bottom shell layers
5 top shell layers
wall generator: arachne
transitioning threshold angle: 30°
Lenght 54mm
Width 25mm
Height 3.5mm
Keychain Holes:
5mm
3.5mm
1 x 31mm piece of filament (Ø 1.75mm)
Cut a 31mm long piece from your filament, thread it into the hinge and push it all the way in with some pliers for example.
Once you tested the print you can duplicate the objects and print multiple ones at the same time. I still recommend printing each pair by object and not by layer. Please don't upload extra print profiles just for that.
